I'm actively building a React Native mobile application leveraging Expo, that allows users to read any kinds of tech news in a TLDR format. At, tldr.tech you subscribe via email, I did this but ended up with a flooded inbox and made it difficult to find important emails. Utiilzing my existing web application experience and my motivation to learn more about mobile/web application, I wanted to build an app from the ground up.

In this short time, I've designed an entire backend leveraging PostgreSQL as my database, and created all of the API endpoints for fetch data for initial processing, and responding to the client device when requesting data.

Software Engineering Intern | Dev Ops

During my Summer 2024 full-time internship General Dynamics Mission Systems, I optimized the truMLS Open Platform Solution by refactoring Ansible playbooks defined by company best practices.

I reduced total lines of YAML code by 50%, introducing a solution that optimized reusability and allowed increased maintainability for customers and developers alike to deploy their services with ease. I particpated in daily stand up calls in a remote Agile team, performing weekly demonstrations to showcase progress and technical advances.

During test integration, I managed, configured, and deployed AWS EC2 instances, loading custom Linux-OS images and solving network complexities by correcting configuration code for modern systems and applications.

Software Engineering Intern | Full Stack

The following year, I continued my support at General Dynamics Mission Systems where I worked part-time as a full stack engineer balancing both school and work. During this time, I supported an internal fork of OpenCVE where I independently engineered and developed full stack features and solutions based off customer needs through Jira tickets.

I made contributions to allow vulnerability data to be retrieved and update an offline instance of OpenCVE, to support users in an isolated network. This consisted of engineering an algorithm to be executed as a command to retrieve data in a convenient and user-friendly manner. In addition to this, I had to ensure the database update would be a seamless, where I modified networking calls to local file I/O, and reconfigured a Celery worker to recognize new local data and insert it.

The new features I implemented always included creating unit and configuration tests leveraging Pytest, ensuring high quality code and using Flake8 to enforce consistent formatting. With the addition of new tests, I managed and configured GitLab CI/CD pipelines to further ensure code stability.

I optimized and updated old Docker scripts, troubleshooting Docker containers via CLI, and creating thorough documentation and instructions to ensure a successful deployment and configuration set up for users.

I recently graduated from UMass Amherst with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, earning a GPA of 3.63. My coursework focused on software development and engineering, including classes in computer architecture, operating systems, security, networking, and algorithms.

I'm a motivated and curious developer with a strong interest in building mobile and web applications across the full stack. During my senior year, I independently contributed to an internal fork of OpenCVE, designing and implementing full stack solutions to support internal users.

To continue sharpening my skills, I'm currently building a mobile application, using it as a learning platform to deepen my full stack expertise and explore modern development workflows.

I'm detail orientated, where I believe code quality and consistency is vital to the software development life cycle, always looking for more efficient and effective solutions and take pride in clean code.
